About Our Gelato
What makes Glo's gelato different?
Everything is made in small batches, and every flavour gets its own base - chocolate isn't vanilla with cocoa stirred in, and pistachio isn't just a flavouring added at the end. It's cooked in from the start, Italian-style, so it comes out smooth, dense and full of flavour.
How can I enjoy my gelato?
However you like, cone, cup or jar to take home. There's also our specialty gelato cakes and, for events, our gelato cart.
Is Glo Gelato kid-friendly?
Yes - cones, cups and jars make it an easy stop for families, and there's plenty of seating around Carlton and Argyle Square nearby to enjoy it.
Ordering & Delivery
Do you deliver?
Yes, order online and we'll get Carlton's best gelato delivered straight to your door. Cakes are currently next-day in-store pick-up only.
Is there a Glo Gelato near me if I'm not in Carlton?
Right now we're a single-site gelateria in Carlton, with gelato delivered Melbourne-wide via online ordering.
Gelato Cakes
How many people does a gelato cake serve?
Our gelato cakes serve 8–16 people, depending on the cake.
How long will a gelato cake keep?
Cakes last in the freezer for up to 2 weeks. If you're serving it frozen, keep it in the freezer until ready to go. If you'd like it thawed, move it to the fridge for 3–12 hours before serving.
Gelato Cart Hire
Can I hire a gelato cart for my event?
Yes, our fully serviced gelato cart is available for weddings, private celebrations and corporate events. We handle setup, service and pack-down. Tailored packages start from $1,600. Get in touch for a quote.
Can I customise the flavours for my gelato cart hire?
Yes, cart packages include a choice of flavours from our core range, and you can even work with our team to create a custom flavour for your event.
